One: The Sam Darnold redemption arc is complete.

I’m sure at this point, the Seattle quarterback is tired of hearing about the struggles of his early career. As you (and him) have both heard for the entire season, Darnold was a former third overall pick by the New York Jets in 2018. He suffered through three harsh seasons, famously saw ghosts, and was dealt away after three unsuccessful years.

He’s played for five teams in his eight-year career and was written off almost everywhere he went. But now, he’s a Super Bowl champion.

It’s hard to think of many easier players to root for in the NFL. He’s the classic story of dusting yourself off snd trying again and again, as many times as it takes. He’s finally found a home in Seattle and finally achieved what was hoped for him when he was first drafted. I’m super happy for him.
