This season has been a rollercoaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A 4-1 start, followed by a collapse that culminated in “Fire Tomlin” chants, and most recently, a revitalizing back-to-back wins to get them to 8-6.
There’s a lot left to be settled this season, and although the Steelers currently lead the AFC North with a lead on the Baltimore Ravens, playoffs are far from a guarantee.
But with three weeks to go in the season, we aren’t that far away from the Steelers naming their Team MVP for the 2025 season. And in my opinion, running back Kenneth Gainwell has a serious case to be made for that honor.
Gainwell, has 451 rushing yards on the year, which is already a career-high for the fifth-year player. He’s averaging 4.8 yards per carry, the best on the roster. He has four rushing touchdowns, which is just one shy of a career high of five set back in his rookie year.
