The Pittsburgh Penguins won their fifth straight game Sunday afternoon when they completed the comeback to win in overtime over the Columbus Blue Jackets, 5-4.
There was a lot to like in this game. The Penguins got scoring from a number of players, Arturs Silovs made some timely saves in the third period to give his team a chance, and Sidney Crosby just keeps doing Sidney Crosby things.
But another thing to like was seeing Ville Koivunen score a goal. The 22-year-old scored just his second goal of the season in Columbus to help the Penguins get the win.
Koivunen nearly had the deflection in front of Blue Jackets goaltender Jet Greaves, but even after that missed, he stuck with the play. Koivunen circled back around and established himself in front of the net, and used his legs to get himself in the right place at the right time.
