One: The NFL almost had a perfect Wild Card Weekend.

The first four games of the slate were perfect. The LA Rams vs Carolina, Green Bay vs Chicago, Buffalo vs Jacksonville, and San Francisco vs Philadelphia all featured exciting, back-and-forth action that really heated up in the second quarter.

Then things trailed off with the last two. The LA Chargers put up a pitiful performance against New England for a violent yet boring 16-3 win for the Patriots. The Steelers, not to be outdone, also had a sad day on offense, failing to score a touchdown as well and letting it all unravel in the fourth quarter for a 30-6 loss.

Those two weren’t nearly as good, but on the whole, I think you have to call Wild Card Weekend a success. And I have to say, it’s really fun seeing some new or semi-new faces in the playoffs this season.
